Joyce!

Once when David's parents were watching Cam, Ron went to the bottom of the stairs and called for Joyce. "Joyce! Joyce!" Cam went and joined him and called "Joyce!" This was when he was just starting to pick up new words quickly. We all made a joke of it, and sometimes randomly called "Joyce!" and Cam would parrot us.

We try to refer to her as Grandma, but she is still Joyce to Cam. David asked him... "What's Daddy's name?" "David" "What's Mommy's name?" "Jen-fer." "What's sister's name?" "Megan" "What's your name?" "Cam-ron".

Then he asked David "What's Joyce's name?" "Joyce". "What's Joyce's NAME?"... this went on for a while.

So we've stopped fighting it... Grandma may be "Joyce" to Cam for quite some time.
