Happy Easter

Even though there was nothing exciting in the eggs, both kids seemed to enjoy the Easter morning egg hunt. Cameron had paid no attention to Mamie's egg hunt the week before, so I didn't expect much. But this time he was excited to find the eggs and put them into his bag. Megan helped him by pointing some out, and handing some of hers straight to him.

Maybe because I had warned her that the Easter Bunny had already brought any "big" gifts and candy to Mamie's house, Megan was a good sport about the contents of the eggs. "Ariel stickers! Look!" and "Wow, a cute little frog family!" and "a bunny balloon!" David blew up our bunny family of 5, and we all put them in front of our face a la Winnie the Pooh. Megan lined up the little frogs and had them race across the floor. She also made a very artistic napkin with the Ariel and spring stickers. David put an Elmo tattoo on Cam's belly.

After a trip to the store, it was time for Cam's nap. Megan and I started her "School Memories" book, which she loved, and read some Jack and Annie (Magic Treehouse). Cam woke up, and we headed over to Aunt Ronda's to celebrate Easter with David's family. Since my side is so small (my mom, my sis, her 2 kids) they joined us at Ronda's. We had delicious ham, and there was another Easter egg hunt, this time outside. At the end of the day, Megan went home with Mamie, Cedric, and Aidan. Monday they all went to Coco Key, a local indoor waterpark.
