Today is her last day in World Market (her preschool has catchy names for each of their rooms) She has had a great year - she started at Compass and in World Market approximately August 9, 2006. I had no idea at the time what a difference an extremely high quality daycare could make. Her first two daycares were not horrific, but Compass is truly special. She's learned so much, but most importantly she's a happy, self-confident kid, and I give her teachers, her school and her classmates most of the credit.
Tomorrow Compass is closed for a teacher's inservice day, and on Tuesday she and several of her friends will be moving to Inventor's Workshop, one of two pre-K (!) classrooms.
