Megan had Kindergarten Open House Wednesday. It was pretty fun to see the difference between our first visit at orientation and now. In August, we were exploring the room together. Now that it's November, she dragged me to every corner, talking a mile a minute and explaining the logistics of each of the centers. She also wanted to read me every sight-word book and chart we found.
Then her friend Alex poked his head in the room and we were all off to explore the building together. Cam tried to keep up - he's getting more adept at running. We saw the literacy lab, looked in at the gym (there was a basketball practice going on), wondered why the library was locked, and rolled around on the rug in the music room.
Megan's latest question... when do I start first grade?
