The garbage can game

I'd forgotten how a garbage can is fascinating to a toddler. When Megan was around Cam's age, I could entertain her for long stretches of time by finding items for her to toss in. Last night Cam peeled some paper from our box of sidewalk chalk. He showed it to me, and I said "I see... why don't you go throw that away." He jumped up excitedly and headed for our garbage can. He is tall enough to reach the opening, and he dropped the paper right in. Back to the box... peel... can... repeat.
