Megan's Fine Art Program

Mason schools proudly presents... the Kindergarten Spring Fine Arts Program! Because there are 38 Kindergarten classes, this exciting event is split into 3 evenings, each evening with 2 action-packed showings.

We were lucky that Megan was in the early showing... when we came back to the parking lot at the end of the show, cars were circling like vultures at a mall the week before Christmas.

First we toured the halls and viewed the many displays of Kindergarten art. It was interesting to see so many different mediums. Our tour led us right to the cafeteria, where the risers were set on the stage for the 5 classes involved in the 6:30p music performance. Mamie, David, Eric, Cameron and I found decent seats in Megan's view-line. The songs were cute, complete with in-place dancing by the Kindergartners. Cameron was transfixed, and even sang along to the two songs he recognized. Megan was a little spacey... maybe she had stage fright. At the end of the "so they all rolled over and one fell out..." song, they whispered "There was one in the bed, and the little one said ... *Good night*" and the audience "awww"-ed.

It made me happy that Megan had 4 adults and her little brother there to support her.
