So we had an ultrasound the other day to see if everything was progressing nicely with Jr. Jen hopped herself up on caffeine and sugar (it doesn’t take much as she cut way back when she got pregnafied) to make sure the baby was moving around enough to determine the sex. This is how it went.
Nurse: “Blah blah blah head, blah blah blah arm, blah blah blah heart, blah blah blah belly , blah blah blah …..It’s a boy.”
Me: “Dang right it is!! Just like his dad too!!!”
Nurse: “Uh, Sir that’s the umbilical cord”
Me: “Then how do you know he’s a boy?”
Nurse: “This little thing right here.”
Jen: “Just like his daddy!!”
Are pregnant women always so hurtful??
Now the task at hand is coming up with a name for little Jr. I said since it’s a boy he should be named after his father. Jen agreed. So now we have it down to five names (David is not among them) and should have the DNA tests back for the final name before he is born. All the names but one are good strong names. Cross your fingers everyone and pray he doesn’t end up being named Drunk Guy In Bar.
