Cameron's reading assignment (18-Apr)

Cameron and Megan lived in a big house with David, Morgan the Dog and Blackberry the cat. It was just a normal house with a normal kitchen and a normal family room. Everything was normal except for the things that weren’t. What wasn’t normal you ask? For one thing they had a magic closet under the stairs of Cameron’s log cabin bunk bed that could take you to anytime or any place in the world. There was also a magic refrigerator that all you had to do was say what food you wanted, open the door and it would be there. And every room had a magic slide that you could get in and slide to any other room in the house. You could slide from upstairs to downstairs, downstairs to upstairs from kitchen to bedroom or living room to family room anywhere you wanted to slide you just had to do is tell the slide where you wanted to slide to. This made hide and go seek a very interesting game to play. One day when it was storming outside Megan and Cameron decided to use the magic closet to go to their grand mothers house. Cameron and Megan both said take us to grandmas house unfortunately neither of them said which grandma’s house. Cameron ended up at Grandma Joyce’s house and Megan ended up a Mamie’s house. When they arrived at each house and noticed the other wasn’t there they both went back in the magic closet and asked to go home. Cameron was back at his house in a flash but Megan was nowhere to be seen. The magic closet took her back to Eric’s house. Megan jumped back in the closet and said take me to Cameron. In an instant she was back with Cameron in David and Jen’s house. Megan said, “Man, we have to be more specific with when we tell the closet where we want to go” Cameron agreed. Then they both noticed it had stopped raining they looked at each other and Megan said “lets take the magic slide to the trampoline”. Cameron said, “Last one there is a stinky Poopie head.” And they both started running to the slide.
