It's humbling when your children pucrhase more thoughtful presents than you. Cameron thought for a bit and said "Daddy likes tools" and got him a wrench. He said "Papaw likes movies" and we picked out a movie for him. "Grandma likes to paint"; we could not find any paint, but we got her some paintbrushes.
Megan couldn't wait to give Cameron his Avengers movie, and sat and watched it even though she was getting bored with it. She also got me a reusable cup, because she knows I am always misplacing my thermos. Both kids wanted to give out their presents this morning before they started opening the ones for them. (we had Xmas with Joyce, Ron and Megan today, since we will not see any of them tomorrow)
I haven't been much in the Christmas spirit, but seeing such behavior from my kids definitely helped.
