I hemmed, I hawed, I put it off. "Let's wait til he's 3; let's wait until he's in preschool; let's wait until he's in college." Finally, David said "enough." Since he was off after his back surgery, he kept Cam home for a week. We started off on a Friday night sans pants. He peed on the rug a couple times, but otherwise it went well. After 5 days, we started putting him in underwear. The first time we went to the store, he had an accident. And a couple times after that. We left him in diapers for nap and nighttime.
After 9 days of just Mommy and Daddy, we sent him back to school: in underwear, with several extra pairs, plus several extra pants. He has had NO accidents at preschool! WOW!!!
Guess he was ready.
