My mom and I took Megan camping for the first time this weekend. Megan was definitely in the camping spirit. She was so well-behaved. She didn't even seem to mind that it was miserable and cold and rainy. She went to bed without a peep of protest both nights. When we warned her to keep her distance from the campfire, she was happy to oblige. We walked to a nearby stable, and the horses bent their heads down to let her pat them. And who knew that flashlights could be such fun toys!
